Film Story:Childhood friends Harry and Jeeta perform in the theater group Rang Manch Kalakar, which is facing severe financial difficulties. Group leader Rupinder Bhenji approaches the richest man in the area for help but is humiliated. Harry and Jeeta take matters into their own hands and concoct a devious plan to swindle the wealthy Singh out of the money instead, but nothing goes to plan
Review: A thorough comedy, Any How Miti Pao is a story of making a wealthy man realise the value of art and artists by contriving a plan. Harry (Harish Verma) and Jeeta (Karamjit Anmol) along with Rupinder (Nirmal Rishi), are theater artists aiming to keep their theatre group afloat amid dwindling audiences and funds. As Rupinder reaches out to Singh, (BN Sharma) for funds to revive their group, Singh shows disdain for theatre artists and discourages the younger lot from joining theater too. Sharma and Nirmal have played their parts with much conviction. For both, their roles reflect them in a new, contemporary light, away from their oft-repeated characters of loud and rustic folks. Their acting proves why Punjabi cinema relies heavily on its older character actors to push narratives successfully.
